v0.1.1-alpha — Live Data Cleanup

The website now matches the current live game data: v0.1.1-alpha, updated role and station rules, Bone Pistol wording, Brigands cargo timing, Lucky Waters cooldowns, and the current battle-grid flooding model.

  • Version label updated to v0.1.1-alpha
  • Brigands cargo no longer expires on an encounter grace timer
  • Battle-grid flooding uses the current 50-point ceiling and bilge stations actively bail it
  • Website command guidance now matches Bone Pistol, Quartermaster help, and persistent support roles

!qm Now Answers Direct Questions

Ask the Quartermaster AI something specific and it searches the full verified command guide, understands related terms and synonyms, and pulls in several relevant sections for questions that touch more than one system. It only combines facts the guide actually supports, refuses to invent commands, numbers, or mechanics it can't find, and falls back safely if the AI is unavailable.

  • !qm craft fishing — explains how to craft a Weighted Net and activate it with !use net for doubled fishing catches
  • Questions that touch more than one system pull in guide entries for each
  • Plain !qm with no question still gives the two-line live briefing on what's happening right now

Haunted Island Arms Up, NPCs Get Chatty

Haunted Island now sells the Bone Pistol, and every island NPC has a focused chat-help command so the crew can get guidance without flooding chat with full command lists.

  • !buypistol or !buybonepistol — Bone Pistol, 2500g, ATK/ACC plus Haunted Luck
  • !witch / !wizard / !warrior — focused NPC guidance for recipes, crafting, and weapons on that island
  • !weapon or !weapons — full weapon rundown: price, home island, traits, training, and upgrades
  • !crafthelp, !usehelp, !potionhelp, !trinkethelp, and !rolehelp — quick instructions for each system

Support Roles Are Unlimited and Persistent

Gunner, carpenter, bilger, and sailor are no longer one-crew-member-at-a-time jobs. Any number of crew can hold the same role, and it keeps contributing automatically every 30-second station round until you step down.

  • !role gunner / carpenter / bilger / sailor — claim a role, no slot limit
  • !unrole — step down whenever
  • Idle roles release on their own after 30 minutes without chat activity
  • Navigator stays unique and Captain-assigned with !role navigator <crewname>
  • Already holding a role when a new battle grid starts? You're auto-seeded into the matching station and start earning locker credit right away
  • Full Sails now also carry into Shallow Waters as starting Navigator moves, not just Kraken/King Crab

Chests Now Pay Crafting Materials and Tokens

Every personal chest tier grants crafting materials on top of its usual rewards — higher tiers grant more, and Legendary Chests include an advanced material — plus a stack of Treasure Map Tokens.

  • !loot — open every personal chest in your inventory and see what you got
  • !usetoken or !usetokens — convert your full token balance into ship Treasure Map Bits
  • Standard Bits contributions return 50% of their value as personal tokens; using !usetoken itself doesn't generate a rebate

!showmethebooty Opens Every Stored Locker At Once

Ship lockers built up from battle victories and salvage runs no longer need to be opened one at a time — the Captain can clear the whole stockpile in a single command.

  • !showmethebooty — opens every stored ship locker at port and distributes crew, safe-passage, and ship rewards together
  • !shipstatus — shows exactly what's stored before you open it, e.g. Diamond Locker x1

Random Sea Events Are Live

Shallow Waters, the Kraken/Giant Crab Sea Creature branch, and the Brigands Convoy are all now live in the random at-sea event pool — no test command needed to find them. Ghost Ship stays a charted destination through Ghost Ship Waters maps rather than a random ambush.

  • Shallow Waters, Sea Creature, and Brigands all roll at equal weight while at sea
  • Storm and the legacy Wreck/Sea Serpent systems stay manual/test-only while they're redesigned
  • Full phase-by-phase strategy and grid diagrams for every encounter now live on the Battle Grids guide

Ship log

Ghost Ship Grid Visual Update

The Ghost Ship now appears as a full canvas-drawn pirate ship spanning its three grid tiles, with a spectral green glow, patchwork hull, masts, and sails. Phase-specific details are also live.

  • Ice tiles show a frosty blue fill with ❄ icon
  • Mimic chests appear as 📦 until !salvage reveals 🪙 treasure or 👻 ghost
  • Red flashing arrow warns the crew before a spectral pull fires
  • Ghost Ship only moves on the surface in Phase 2 and above

Consumable Rework — !use Command

All consumables now activate through a single !use command. The existing !battle, !potion, and !trinket commands still work as shortcuts. Consumables also have new dual-purpose behaviour outside battle.

  • !use flint — builds Battle Prep out of battle (+5 every 2 min), shifts to +15% offensive boost once a fight starts
  • !use net — doubles fish catches out of battle (two independent rolls), shifts to +15% defensive boost in a fight
  • !use chrono — 50% cooldown cut everywhere, no battle required
  • Using the same item twice is blocked until the first expires

Treasure Map Reward Pool

The Treasure Map reward pool is fully updated with Phase 2 progression items. Gold rewards now scale by map level so Level 1 maps feel like a starter treasure and Level 3 maps deliver the big payouts.

  • Level 1 gold tops out around 3,000g
  • Level 3 gold can reach 20,000g on legendary tiles
  • Crafting materials, consumables, boss materials, and Lucky Waters fish all in the pool

Warrior Consumables

The Warrior on Stronghold crafts three consumables that work inside and outside battle. Craft them with !craft and activate with !use (or the legacy !battle shortcut).

  • !use flint — Battle Prep drip out of battle, +15% offensive boost during a fight
  • !use net — double fish catches out of battle, +15% defensive boost during a fight
  • !use chrono — 50% cooldown cut anywhere, any time

Phase 2 Crafting Confirmed

Witch trinkets, Wizard potions, and Warrior consumables are all live and tested. Personal consumables stack with different items, last 10 minutes, and cost 200 gold to craft. You cannot stack the same item twice.

  • Witch: !craft blackcat / ward / coin, activate with !use (or !trinket)
  • Wizard: !craft giant / stoneskin / focus, activate with !use (or !potion)
  • Warrior: !craft flint / net / chronometer, activate with !use (or !battle)

Ship log

Weapon Progression Live

Phase 2 weapons are purchasable from island armories and upgradeable through the Warrior. Train with !train to build Battle Prep. Level 5 upgrades require the island's signature artifact.

  • Haunted: Cursed Dagger, Bone Pistol
  • Fantasy: Wand, Staff
  • Stronghold: Broad Sword, Battle Axe

Ship log

Seasonal Cleanup

The Mother's Day event has ended. Event purchases and progress prompts are shut down, while leftover lures and BloomTide Rod behavior remain supported.

  • No new Bloomtide lure purchases
  • Leftover lures still usable
  • BloomTide Rod legacy catches preserved

Ship log

Coming Next

With Shallow Waters, Sea Creature, and Brigands all live, the focus shifts to balance: tuning reward values from real playtests and deciding what (if anything) joins them in the pool next.

  • Reward balance pass for battle chests and salvage lockers
  • Storm is being redesigned before it returns — the current version is paused
  • Continued live-tuning of event frequency and quiet windows
